| Q. What is SAFE Motorsports? |
A. SAFE Motorsports is a
non-profit track club which organizes open track events
where you can SAFELY and LEGALLY drive your car speeds
at which you feel comfortable.

| Q. What if I have no track experience? |
A. SAFE Motorsports members
are very friendly and helpful. Contact Chuck
Babel or one of the other members and they
will assist you in getting started. They will take you
around the track and can sponsor you for membership.

| Q. I only have my daily driver and
don’t want to wreck it. |
A. If you don’t push your
car beyond your and the car’s limits you will be driving
home in one piece – with a big smile that lasts for weeks.
SAFE Motorsports events are designed for you to feel comfortable
and SAFE. Safety always comes first.

| Q. But my car is not a race car. |
A. That's good, because
you're not racing. SAFE Motorsports events simply allow
you to drive your "daily driver" at whatever speed you
feel comfortable without worrying about breaking the law.

| Q. How much track time will I get? |
A. More than you'll get
with any other club! Most clubs place drivers in run groups
that are only allowed on the track for short times during
the day. SAFE Motorsports has only two run groups in the
morning, afterwards it's OPEN TRACK for the rest of the
day! That adds up to nearly SIX HOURS of track time for
one day!

| Q. Doesn't it tear up the tires? |
A. That depends on how hard
you push it. Some members drive to every event, track
and drive home on the same tires all year long. It depends
on you and your driving style.

| Q. My brakes aren’t good enough for
a track. |
A. This is a common concern,
which may or may not be true for a competitive event.
But SAFE Motorsports events are not ‘race’ events. They
are designed for drivers who want to learn the dynamics
of their cars in a SAFE and legal environment.

| Q. How do I get started? |
A. If you have track experience
just go to the FORMS
page,fill it out and send it in.
If you don’t have experience contact Chuck
Babel and he will assist you in getting prepared
for our next event.
